Maggie Heap is a trained supervisor offering individual and group supervision to psychotherapists and counsellors and mentoring and development support to trainees.
Maggie provides supervisees with a safe space for creative reflection on client issues, exploration of all aspects of the client-therapist relationship as well as ethical issues and dilemmas.
Therapists and counsellors in training are offered assistance with understanding theory, expanding knowledge and skills and developing research projects. Maggie provides practical support with dissertations, case histories and essays.
Maggie calls on a wide range of approaches to inform her work which is rooted in attachment theory, humanistic and psychodynamic therapy. She also provides specialist supervision for therapists training in EMDR.
